At Abbeymead Dental Centre, we are proud to support the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry's Dental Check by One (DCby1) campaign, encouraging parents to bring their baby to the dentist before their first birthday.

We understand from working closely with local health visitors that access to NHS dental care for babies can be limited. To help support our community, we are offering NHS dental places for babies where capacity allows.

Starting dental visits early helps your child become familiar with the environment, sounds, and team, making future visits easier and more positive. It also allows you to receive helpful advice on teething, brushing, and diet from the very beginning.

How to register:
To join your baby with Abbeymead Dental Centre, simply complete the form below.

• We aim to respond within 5–7 working days
• The current waiting time for a first NHS check-up is approximately 12 weeks

Planning your visit:

• Parent and child parking is available at the nearby Aldi car park, just a short walk from the practice
• The practice is accessible on the ground floor
• Some appointments may take place upstairs, so we kindly recommend bringing your baby in a carrier or car seat where possible
• Accessible toilet and baby changing facilities are available on site
