Michael qualified from Bristol University in 1989 and spent a number of years in general practice and hospital posts in the South West of England and Essex before undertaking post-graduate studies in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1996. He gained his MSc with distinction in 1998 and was admitted to the Specialist Register as a Specialist Endodontist in 2000.

He has been working as a Specialist Endodontist, limiting his practice to this field, since 2002 in London and Hertfordshire.

As a Specialist Endodontist, Michael takes referrals from other dentists for advice or treatment on cases that are of a more complex nature than usual. With the benefit of his further training, many years of experience and the use of specialist equipment, many teeth can be saved by root canal.
